[Enmusubi AI Development Story Episode 13] Why the night cherry blossom world is like this — the “environment” to calm emotions
In the previous installments, the logic of Enmusubi AI has reached a milestone. This is the end of that section. From here is the worldview edition. To begin with, I must confess that I did not make it look beautiful just to look pretty. This EA does not cut losses. Therefore, the biggest risk is not in the market but “the trader’s emotions”. The worldview is the “environment” prepared to calm those emotions.
A no-stop-loss EA waits for recovery while carrying losses. It endures correctly as designed—yet while watching the red numbers on the screen, a user who becomes anxious may close positions by his own hand. This is the most common “accident” in recovery-grid types.
The EA is not mistaken. However, if you manually lock in the position before recovery, the unrealized loss becomes realized loss.Even when the EA is functioning correctly, user emotions can break it. This has always been on my mind.
Common EA panels place unrealized losses and position counts in cold, unmoving numbers. Information-wise, it’s correct. But when red numbers showing “−○○ yen” stay visible, heart rate rises.A UI that stirs anxiety is itself a risk, I thought.
So I chose Night Blossom. A deep navy background with pink and gold cherry blossoms. With a calm color scheme, the AI’s judgment is reflected in a cherry-blossom themed panel“Enmusubi-dokoro”in Japanese. The same information feels completely different to the recipient.
Recovery grids are EA that wait to become profitable. Instead of waiting with anxiety, I want toturn that waiting time into an appreciating moment, like watching cherry blossoms. So I softened the market’s temperature with seasonal words. If calm,Hanabi-bi, in a market with doubts isHanakage, a situation to be wary of isHanabie. The state of the asset is also shown with words like “bud” and “blooming.”
Even when numbers alone cause a stiff posture, adding words like “It’s Hanabie now. Waiting for recovery” relaxes the shoulders. The judgments and reasons being verbalized is the dividing line between those who can wait and those who cannot.
Therefore, for me, the worldview of Night Blossom is not a matter of design taste.Calming emotions = adhering to discipline = the EA works as intended. These are connected in this order. No matter how excellent the backtest, if a user meddles midway, it’s ruined. The worldview is a serious design element to suppress that “final risk.”
The worldview is a device to calm emotions, butit does not erase the EA’s inherent weaknesses. Since Enmusubi AI is designed not to cut losses, when three currencies move in the same direction rapidlyrapid yen appreciationthere is a possibility that unrealized losses swell and the account could fail. It is an environment for waiting calmly, not a guarantee of safety in any market—this point will always be communicated when discussing the worldview.
- The biggest risk of a no-stop-loss EA is not the market, but“the trader’s emotions”
- Unmoved red numbers stir anxiety →lower the temperature with Night Blossom worldview
- With seasonal words (Hanabi-bi/Hanakage/Hanabie)turn “waiting” into an appreciation moment
- Worldview is not decorationbut part of risk management. However, the EA’s weakness (rapid yen appreciation) is a separate issue
