Most signal tools try to predict whether the next move will be up or down. And they miss. Gold Vein AI fundamentally changes that.Direction is not predicted. What AI predicts is only “will it move (activity level)”In this first installment, I’ll explain why this design was chosen — the most important concept of Gold Vein AI.

Conclusion: Gold’s “direction” is almost impossible to predict

In developing my EA, I tested whether I could predict Gold’s next direction (up or down) using various methods and AIs. The conclusion remains the same: Regardless of time frame or method, the chance of predicting correctly is almost five out of ten. It was no different from flipping a coin.

Therefore,signal tools that claim to “predict direction” do not last. Even if they seem correct, if used long enough they converge to about 50%. This is not about a method being superior; it reflects market character.

But you can read “will it move soon (activity level)”

Meanwhile, I found something interesting: even if you can’t predict which way it will move,“Will there be a big move soon, or not”＝ the market’s activity level is much easier to read than direction.

Price movements have times of quiet sleep and times when they wake up suddenly. Use AI to identify the moment just before it wakes up.Identify the moment before waking upThis is the core of Gold Vein AI’s philosophy. Do not chase the unpredictable (direction); bet on what can be read (activity level) — choosing a field where you have a winning edge.
