PYRAMID PANEL Usage Series Episode 7 (Final) — Rising Gold Dragon × PYRAMID PANEL (Stack automated base with manual boosts)
This Semidiscretionary Series also ends here. We’ve looked at entry (pyramid/averaging down) ・ position sizing ・ risk management ・ exit. The finale is my own recommended usage —Overlay manual boosts from PYRAMID PANEL atop the automatic base of the EA “Shoudinryuu”As a combination. It’s not “all automatic” nor “all manual.”Let the EA quietly build the base, and only add boosts with your own hands at the crucial moments. We’ll see the roles in concrete examples.
Gold-only EA “Shoudinryuu” operates around the clock, entering and exiting without emotion as per the 24-hour rule“Base”It keeps moving as decided, even while you sleep or at work.
Meanwhile, there are market moments wherehumans can judge “this is big”. In those moments, you add a manual boost with PYRAMID PANEL. The aim is to combine the base stability with the boost’s sudden power.
After gold drops sharply, you want to capture the initial rebound — that’s the scenario. Shoudinryuu’s base will pick up within a set range, buta major wave that “will rebound from here”can be carried upward in order via PYRAMID PANEL, increasing the lot size as it grows to take profits.
With one button you can deploy the limit orders by width × number, so you won’t miss the initial rebound. Base buys the low, boost extends the rebound —the roles alignin this moment.
What’s important is tonot mix automated positions with manual ones. PYRAMID PANEL only operates on your own magic-number positions, so you can move entry levels, trails, partial closes, and bulk closes for manual portions without touching Shoudinryuu’s automation. Manage risk separately, keeping the base unchanged while stacking only the boost. This is a strength of the approach.
Holding multiple manual positions can tempt you to let profits run when they’re positive and cut quickly when there’s drawdown — a classic chicken exit. To prevent this, decide the exit before you hold. Trailing from recent highs, half-taking profits and letting the rest run, etc.,a “rule you can execute without looking”assigned to PYRAMID PANEL’s button keeps you from being swayed by emotion.
Overlaying auto and manual increases the required margin since you hold positions on both. There are situations where both base and manual boosts expand via averaging down/pyramiding, so allocate funds to auto and manual separately and always leave room. Boosts should be focused on the crucial moments, not constantly active.
