6/7★Why my EA is needed
Dear readers,
When you think about starting asset management,
have you ever wondered things like this?
- There isn’t enough time to monitor the markets
- Emotions tend to run high
- Unable to cut losses
- Profit-taking happens too early
- Don’t know what to believe
In fact, I himself struggled with the same concerns during my discretionary trading days.
That’s why I started developing EAs.
However,
there is one misunderstanding I don’t want you to have here.
I don’t view EAs
as a tool to make money easily
.
Rather,
「a tool to systemize investing」
I believe they are.
Humans are creatures of emotion.
When there are profits, greed grows.
When there are losses, fear arises.
The market is a collection of human psychology,
so naturally, the operator’s own psychology affects the results.
EA is
a mechanism that codifies that portion of emotion into rules,
to improve reproducibility.
Also,
what I focus on in EA development is
not the performance of a single instance.
The market is always changing.
That’s why,
- Trending types
- Mean-reverting types
- Anomaly types
have different characteristics,
and I continue researching such logics.
Rather than chasing a single sacred grail,
to adapt to market changes.
People who need my EA are not those chasing quick riches.
Rather,
- Want to form wealth over the long term
- Want to learn investing
- Want to understand risk management
- Want to use EAs correctly
That is the kind of people I’m thinking of.
I often say that the success or failure of EA operation is
- Quality of the EA
- How to use the EA
- Money management
- The operator’s literacy
that determines it.
In other words,
the results aren’t determined by the EA alone.
That’s why I don’t just sell EAs,
I also share about risk management and operation methods.
What I offer is not a product called EA,
but a mechanism for
“continuous asset formation.”
