Today is the U.S. employment statistics release day (NFP for April). Gold maintained around$4,750 aroundthroughout, with a wait-and-see mood ahead of the 21:30 NFP release.
Last March NFP exceeded expectations by +178,000 vs. +65,000 forecast, but this time ADP is +62,000, a large miss, so a weaker expectation dominates. However, the correlation between ADP and NFP is not always high, and the result will be known only after the release.
