Trade is only once. Pondering the rules [Yu Kirisato]
Last week, I ended up holding the newly opened long position that I opened on April 1st.

Trading results: 4/1 (Mon) – 4/5 (Fri)
April 1 (Mon)
Bought → kept holding this position
April 2 (Tue)
Average line had not reversed, so no trade
April 3 (Wed)
Again, the average line had not reversed, so no trade
April 4 (Thu)
Again, the average line had not reversed, so no trade
April 5 (Fri)
This day was unemployment data release, so no trade
The night’s trades up to now are 2 wins and 3 losses for +50 pips. I carried one position into this week.
What to do with additional positions
A thought occurred to me. Last week I didn’t enter after Tuesday because the average line hadn’t reversed, but once I have a position, what should the rule be?
- Open a new entry no matter how many positions I hold
- Decide a maximum number of positions that are OK to hold
- Do not enter in the same direction
Example) If I hold a long position, I will not add more longs
These are the candidates. I’ll think about them a bit.
Coin-toss trading: last week I had four straight losses! Getting interesting.
Hedged-swap and take-profit trades continue to be stable with DMMFX’s swap payments at 32 yen. May these peaceful days continue (laugh).
Bonus
A chamomile tea from Starbucks inspired me to start drinking it at home as well ♪
Herbal tea is not only delicious; it also feels comforting to drink.
