[April 21, 2026] Asahina Risa's Gold EA Performance Report
Today's Gold started near the previous NY afternoon level of $4,828. It drifted lower during Asia hours and was pushed down to around $4,775 around the Europe open. The intraday low was $4,768, from which it rebounded. Through NY morning it hovered around $4,795, and as of writing, this is a typical wait-and-see market awaiting ceasefire-related headlines.
Trading range expected around mid-to-lower end of $4,720–$4,860. Depending on the scenario—ceasefire extension, breakdown, or postponement—volatility may emerge during NY afternoon to night.
DXY (Dollar Index) around 98.10 with slight firmness. Crude oil shows little movement. Risk-off sentiment remains strong, and market direction can hinge on a single headline, so be cautious with positioning.
Today's Shoukinryū settled with+2,669 JPYrealized profit. The previous day Gold moved substantially, gaining +6,619 JPY, but today’s price action in a range from the Asia session downtrend led to smaller gains.
Entries at oversold levels occurred multiple times; from Europe OPEN to NY OPEN, entries and exits were executed in a tight $4,775–$4,795 range. All positions were closed for profit on the rebound around NY OPEN.
As of writing, no carryover positions. Ready for headlines that may come overnight/early morning; flat and waiting for action tomorrow.
CHAOS_GOLD built 7 long positions today at entry windows in Japan time: 4:00, 18:00, and 21:00. Entry prices ranged around $4,814 / $4,804 / $4,793 / $4,784 / $4,797 / $4,790 / $4,774. Current unrealized loss is-10,527 JPYand remains unrealized.
Margin maintenance rate is25,329%with ample buffer. This EA uses a grid/nap-nins strategy to layer positions, aiming for total profit when the market rebounds, so short-term unrealized losses are expected.
Today is the ceasefire deadline day. If headlines trigger a sharp overnight to early morning rally, all 7 positions could be realized for profit. Conversely, if downside persists, additional averaging down will reduce average price. In either scenario, there is plenty of room before the exit line, so there is no need to rush.
Tomorrow is Wednesday. As the “next day” after the ceasefire deadline, a market incorporating the verdict is expected.
- Longer-extension scenario: Gold continues firm, aiming to reclaim $4,830
- Breakdown scenario: Oil spikes, USD whipsaw, Gold may see risk-off buying into the $4,900s
- Hold/Delay scenario: Range-bound, bouncing between $4,780 and $4,820
Shoukinryū will operate normally, CHAOS_GOLD also active on Wed/Fri, continuing. In any scenario, hedged positions and remaining averaging capacity enable handling the situation.
Additionally, the FOMC minutes release in NY time today may affect Gold’s move, so this is another point to watch.
