"We decided the ending first"
In the old days,
I used to ask the chart where to take profits.
If it looked like it would run, I would extend it.
If it looked suspicious, I would escape.
If it looked strong, I would endure.
All decisions were made on the spot.
So every trade ended in a different way.
Trades without a definite end always invite hesitation.
Hesitation gives rise to exceptions.
Exceptions break the rules.
And before I knew it
the same mistakes piled up again.
So I did the opposite.
Before entering, I decided how it would end.
• When I reach here, it's over
• When I break through here and confirm, it's over
• If I don't update, it ends as is
It didn't matter whether it would go up or not.
It didn't matter whether it was right or not.
I fixed only the "end condition."
Then,
I stopped worrying about how much profit I would make.
I stopped hesitating about when to cut losses early.
Trading transformed
from a "thinking process"
to a "verification process."
If you decide the end in advance,
you won't allow greed to creep in midway.
Fear can no longer intrude either.
In the end, the system closes things calmly.
I simply became someone who just watched it through.
Only here did trading become
“not tiring.”
