“A fish that leaps before hooking will be caught” (The Philosophy of the Market by Shigeru Kaburagi)
"A fish that leaps at bait is the first to be caught"
— Shigeru Kabuki, The Philosophy of the Market
In the market, there are moments when an attractive lure suddenly appears.
Rapid rises, catalysts, flashy volume.
At that moment, jumping on it reflexively is a very natural human reaction.
But as Shigeru Kabuki says, the fish that jumps the fastest is the first to be caught.
I, for one, am always getting caught in breakout traps (laughs).
If you can step back a bit and observe,
you wonder whether you are on the side of “watching the bait” or on the side of “being bait.”
That kind of thought comes to mind.
Only those who can wait may notice the existence of the fishing line.
Surviving in the market may mean having the courage not to jump.
Well then, until next time.
