Will the funds increase even if the win rate is low?
Even with a low win rate, does the capital increase?
If the win rate is high,
and the risk-reward is good,
and the drawdown is small,
and it is reproducible in the long term.
If you can create an EA that satisfies all those conditions,
that person would probably be using it quietly, without showing anyone,
keeping the lot size small,
accumulating the expected value,
not overreacting to changes in the market environment,
and quietly making the equity curve rise to the right.
That would be the closest form to what people call the “holy grail.”
I have not reached that realm.
That is why I did not start with designs that chase only win rate.
In ORION_USDJPY,
- prioritize expected value over high win rate
- drawdown management assuming consecutive losses
- emphasize PF and recovery factor
- structure that increases capital only in trending phases
these are the “practical conditions for long-term operation.”
This EA is not something to make you feel good in the short term,
it is designed to have an expected value that is resistant to a hands-off operation.
It is not an EA that sells ideals.
Facing reality and
the result of accumulating a design for “survival” is ORION_USDJPY.
