"It was scary, but if it were a hero Himmel, I would do it" (words of a Taiwanese youth)
I found a good story on YouTube.
Some of you may already know this, but I’ll introduce it anyway.
＜Episode＞
On May 21, 2024, a random stabbing incident occurred on the Taichung Metro in Taiwan, with a blade being wielded.
A man who happened to be present restrained the perpetrator and protected other passengers, even though he sustained facial injuries.
In an interview at the subsequent award ceremony, this man said,
“I was scared, but if it were Hero Himmler, I would do the same.”
“Lycoris Recoil” is also an anime I love.
Himml is the name of the hero who defeated the demon king that appears in the anime.
In the story, Himml acts without considering gain or loss and keeps helping people in front of him.
That attitude, in reality, encouraged a young man in Taiwan to keep going,
you could say.
The power of anime is amazing.
There are many scary scenes in FX as well.
“I was scared, but if it were Hero Himml, I would do the same.”
I want to make this a mantra and enter even the scary scenes (laugh).
