The life cycle has changed, so I will change the method starting next week [Kiri Yuu]
Last week I did three trades, all of them long positions in a buying frenzy!
New Coin Toss Trading Rules Using Heikin-Ashi
■ Currencies and Time Frames
Display daily Heikin-Ashi for GBP/JPY
■ Trading Rules (Updated October 23, 2018)
→ If the daily Heikin-Ashi is bullish, go long; if bearish, go short
→ Take profit at 60 pips, stop loss at 50 pips, set as OCO
→ Do not trade if the daily Heikin-Ashi is a doji, or if the body is very small
■ Notes
・Do not hold three or more positions simultaneously
・Do not hold same-direction positions with price differences within 50 pips
・Only one trade per day
■ Others
・In the article, “○ = take profit,” “× = stop loss.”
・The initial trading rule is explained in “I started the coin toss trading I had been curious about for a long time.”
・Please check the most recent rules in the latest article.
・This trading started with the rule of buy on the heads side and sell on the tails side, but at some point the decisions began to be made based on the color of the Heikin-Ashi. Still, since it remains rooted in the original idea, the name coin toss has not been changed.

I went to FX攻略.com editorial staff to report results of the method described in this column. Shy Yu Kori appears in animation?! The method is very simple, so it’s easy to understand, and watching it in video makes it even clearer.

This is an interview exploring Yu Kori’s FX history. It covers how the current method came about, past failures, and messages for people starting FX. Those who are losing because they can’t find a method that fits, or who win sometimes but overall are losing, will gain some insights.
Trading Performance: 2/18 (Mon) – 2/22 (Fri)
February 18 (Mon)
Buy → ○
February 19 (Tue)
Since I was still holding the previous day's long position, I did not trade that day.
February 20 (Wed)
Buy → ○
February 21 (Thu)
Buy → ×
February 22 (Fri)
Heikin-Ashi body was short, so I skipped.
Last week I had 2 wins and 1 loss, a rare positive week!
Transitioning from Morning Trading to Evening Trading
Overall, the record so far is 22 wins and 31 losses, −230 pips. If I continued to 200 trades, it might have turned positive, but I needed to change the trading rules.
The current method has already been backtested and shows a rising trend. However, that data is for entries made between 9:00 and 16:00. Since my part-time job schedule has shifted earlier, late-morning entries have become difficult.
So starting next week, I will trade with a method that matches my future lifestyle. The method is already defined, and backtests are complete. It’s an excellent method with a roughly 1.6 PF over the past two years, and it looks like I will be entering in the evening before bed, which is rare for me. I’ll write the rules in the next article♪
I’m working hard in the analog world
Swap hedging accounts are steadily earning for me.
I record it in the calendar like this, quite analogly haha. Cumulative profit is 45,155 yen.
Bonus
On a certain program, Matsuko said that adding natto to蒙古タンメン cup noodles makes it really delicious, so I tried it too.
It’s delicious. I feel a synergistic effect.
