Hello! This is Lee from GogoJungle.
A hugely popular series: a conversation between our CEO, Hayakawa, and developers!
This time, we are joined byKoyaji. In the previous interview,we asked how Mr. Koyaji has built the foundational mindset for investing by steadily piling up “testing” and “continuation.” Now, we finally get to the core.“So, what logic remained after all that testing?”He discusses the discretionary trading approach that achieved a 98% win rate, how to use RCI at its core, and why he teaches one-on-one,while showing the actual screen. Especially for those who have been searching for a method,be sure to watch until the end!

| A discretionary trader who has accumulated extensive testing |
Koyaji
Worked for many years in marketing and sales at a general company, cultivating a mindset of examining “why results were achieved” and “why things turned out that way” on a daily basis. In the investing world, moved from stocks to FX. Through numerous failures and trial and error, arrived at the belief that accumulating testing is what leads to reproducibility. Currently, he has built a simple yet practical trading method centered on discretionary trades using RCI as the axis, composed of the minimum necessary elements such as EMA and Bollinger Bands. Under the belief that “quantity surpasses quality,” he shares a “sustainable trading” approach through manuals, videos, and one-on-one coaching, based on his experience of conducting chart testing every night for two years.

1. How the 98% win-rate logic took shape
| Building on what we discussed in Part 1, I’d like to ask about the logic that could be called the culmination of your work. The key points are that it’s fully discretionary and uses no averaging down, right? |
| GogoJungle Hayakawa |
| Koyaji |
| Yes. It is discretionary trading, but rather than relying on feel, it’s a logic shaped through thorough testing. |
| I hear you also provide one-on-one instruction via Skillshare. |
| GogoJungle Hayakawa |
| Koyaji |
| That’s right. I started because I felt that the parts that can’t be fully conveyed through text or video can be supplemented face-to-face. |
| Do you proceed while looking at charts together? |
| GogoJungle Hayakawa |
| Koyaji |
| Yes. Sometimes it’s in real time, and often I use historical charts to explain entry decisions. |
| You mentioned it was your first time trying this. How has the response been? |
| GogoJungle Hayakawa |
| Koyaji |
| I feel the understanding deepens more than I imagined. I’m glad I did it. |
2. Mastering RCI — Simple, and therefore difficult
| The indicator at the core of this logic is RCI, which is a bit distinctive. |
| GogoJungle Hayakawa |
| Koyaji |
| That’s right. It’s a two-panel setup, with a histogram-type RCI on the lower panel. |
| I imagine many people will be seeing this form for the first time. |
| GogoJungle Hayakawa |
| Koyaji |
| I use this format to make it easier to grasp visually. |
| You also use EMA and Bollinger Bands, right? |
| GogoJungle Hayakawa |
| Koyaji |
| Yes. However, without adding too many indicators, entries to exits are completed with RCI as the axis. |
| Does it require a lot of practice? |
| GogoJungle Hayakawa |
| Koyaji |
| It does. RCI only takes shape once the candlestick closes, so extensive testing is essential to grasp its nuances. |
3. The intention behind one-on-one coaching
| You’ve had a large number of Skillshare participants, and the reviews are very high. |
| GogoJungle Hayakawa |
| Koyaji |
| I’m grateful that many people are using it. |
| What kind of people do you see most often? |
| GogoJungle Hayakawa |
| Koyaji |
| Many are people who have tried various things but haven’t quite gotten results. |
| What is the strength unique to one-on-one instruction? |
| GogoJungle Hayakawa |
| Koyaji |
| That I can adjust the depth and content of the discussion to each person’s level. |
| Lastly, please share a message for the viewers. |

I myself continued nightly chart testing for two years.
The results didn’t come immediately, but by continuing to trust the same method, it gradually took shape,or so I feel.
It may look like a detour, but testing and persistence will never betray you. Don’t give up—keep building step by step! |
