「We will not redo the optimization of the indicators at all.Because we know it is of no use. What we consistently work on is money management and risk control. We are exploring various ways to reduce drawdown even slightly.
Indicators are what I think of as indicators,
Speaking of RSI,
“If the period is the standard 14, performance is poor, so let's go with 13.”
“If the reversal threshold at 70 yields poor results, I'll set it to 69.”
“Let’s exit profitable trades when the price crosses above 71 from the top.”
He says such things are useless, and he is blunt about it (laughs).
Words from a true mechanical trader... I have to take them seriously.
In the near future, we plan to upgrade the EA being released.
As my senior said, adapt to capital management and the latest volatility,
and keep changes to that level, perhaps.
I find it very educational.
