"The reason his deals end in disaster is always because he is looking for turning points in the market" (From "The Psychology of Magicians")
Advice from the author who trained many traders (Van K. Sarpus? Van K. Sarp) is here.
“Be wary of people who claim there is a perfect investment strategy. Look at their trades, especially their position sizing. If they are not taking low-risk position sizing, run away without hesitation. Like other forecasters, the reason their trades turn out disastrous is that they are always seeking market turning points.”
This book was written in 1998, but the admonition still fits today.
They are talking about turning points, namely market highs and lows.
If I could grasp those extrema, I would already be confident I could reach billions even now.
If I could automate as an EA... I would neglect it and achieve billions.
Perhaps spending energy on tax measures or other things (laughs).
Ah,
If only I could create a ZigZag indicator...
Without repainting. Impossible, impossible—
Just thinking about it is a waste of time (laughs).
See you next time.
