"One should buy twice, one should sell twice." (Kunzaburo Ushida's 'Three Monkeys Gold Spring Secret Record' (san-en-kin-sen-hiroku))
“Buying rice all at once is rash.Buy it in two installments, sell it in two installments.”
That’s a famous market adage.
After researching, it was introduced as follows.
<Source>
A saying recorded in the Edo period market philosophy book “San-en Kin-sen Hiroku” by牛田権三郎 (Kujiragi Kunsaburo). The “San-en Kin-sen Hiroku” is regarded as one of the investment textbooks that still resonates today, alongside the genius market player Honma Soku’s “Sokyu Omoto Hiku.”
That is what it was.
In FX... “Enter two separate positions, and exit separately!” perhaps.
For someone like me, averaging down is possible, but...
There is some psychological resistance to pyramiding.
“If I had entered earlier, I’d be in profit by now.”
These thoughts seem to get in the way.
Even if my entry timing is somewhat late, so what!
Let’s trust the ancient sayings.
Aim to leave a margin for judgment for your future self in your trades.
It’s bound to bring composure and objectivity to the mind.
That’s what I thought (lol).
