"Experts recognize their own personality, including quirks." (Koichi Okamoto, PHP Shinsho, "The Law of Progress")
Okamoto is a social psychologist born in Osaka.
It is said that “those who excel in one art also excel in other arts.”
He explains the understanding and methodology up to mastering that one art.
People who have experience in mastering a single thing seem to undergo a transformation in their cognitive structure,
and things that were invisible become visible,
and they are said to become more capable in terms of personality as well.
“Advanced practitioners recognize their own personality, including their quirks,”
I will quote from the opening line.
“...As you improve, you also become more familiar with your own quirks.Recognizing your own weaknesses is not a pleasant recognitionTherefore, if true motivation to improve does not arise, one is unlikely to confront them. However, once you begin to face them, since a code and code system for skill recognition have formed, you can gain insight into the causes of those quirks and the negative effects of the quirks.”
The “codes and code systems” are described as mechanisms used when acquiring techniques in psychology. Once you master that mechanism, the author states, it will manifest in acquiring other techniques as well.
It is a lifelong, genuine skill, I suppose.
It is priceless, isn’t it.
I want it too.
I feel that I could trade successfully as well (laugh).
See you next time.
