Even in low-volatility scenarios, there are spread trades that make it safe [Yu Kishiri]
Last week, the price movement of GBP/JPY was small and in a range-bound state. Therefore, entries were possible only for one day.

・Please check the latest trading rules in the most recent article.
・This trade started with the rule of buying on the coin toss face and selling on the back, but at some point they began to decide buys and sells based on the color of the Heikin-Ashi. However, since it still traces back to the original idea, the name coin toss has not changed.

Why a Non-Moving Market Is Welcome
When doing discretionary trading, low volatility can make you anxious or feel it’s boring. That used to be my experience.
But after adding hedging swaps and combining, my perspective completely changed. A market with little movement means both upward and downward moves are small, which makes earning through swaps via hedging the best scenario. Ideally, there is almost no price movement.
Even in a market like last week where trades were hard to come by, thinking that “the spread/hinge trades are slowly making profits” keeps me from forcing entries in discretionary trading and keeps me calm.
Smooth Fund Transfers
Even in such a peaceful swap account, a day for fund transfers arrived.
On February 6, I transferred 500,000 yen from the Hirose Online Trade account to the DMM FX account.
Based on the lessons from the X-date on January 3, I canceled the OCO orders on both accounts, transferred funds, and then re-entered OCO orders on both accounts, following the steps precisely.
From now on, I plan to celebrate a small milestone each time I earn 100,000 yen in profit.
