"A loser simply for holding a position without a clear reason" (Nikkei BP Publishing, "Day Trading")
The chapter "Seven Deadly Sins in Trading,"
From "How to Eliminate the Sin of Justification."
"If you are seeking a reason to hold a position, it is clear that there is no reason. To look for a reason means you do not have a reason yourself. Merely holding a position without a clear reason makes you a loser."
What does it mean to look for a reason?
The following examples were cited.
(1) Start asking yourself why the price moves
(2) Start checking the news
(3) Start thinking from the perspective of "it might be"
It is said that it is desirable to follow the original trading plan.
When you feel signs of justification appearing, it is recommended to exit the trade.
A disciplined trade is a strict one, isn't it...
With such a ridiculously simple rule,
I would like to be able to trade without thinking about anything (laugh).
See you next time.
