"To succeed in trading, one must abandon humanity" (from "Day Trading")
As a day trader, “comfort” is the great enemy. Why? Because, from the standpoint of human behavior, trading is the thing that naturally goes against us the most. Psychologically, what feels comfortable is almost always wrong.
So goes the saying…
Safety, security, comfort.
Unconsciously, people seek these things.
In trading, there is a high likelihood of fostering wrong actions.
When you feel comfortable, you are likely doing something wrong…
Traders must adopt a mental state that is inverted and can be considered inhumane.
What a harsh thing to say.
It seems to mean that you must discard your humanity.
I feel Okamoto Taro said something similar as well.
If you are uncertain, choose the dangerous path, something like that.
That, too, is inhumane.
It means going against what people would do.
Do I really have the resolve for that?
It makes you think that way.
Until next time.
