It has probably continued for about a year and a half now!

【What is a Swing EA?】
This time I’ll explain about the “Swing EA.”
Swing characteristics
Swing is a type of trading that aims for a “turning point” after a trend has gone too far.
In other words, it’s a method that targets a new trend at points where the market is likely to reverse after overshooting.
In the case of an EA, entry occurs when technical conditions are met as a “turn signal,” and thereafter it’s designed to ride the trend to maximize profits.
What happens if you actually run it?
Swing EA targets the initial move of a new trend, so
・Entry timing is careful
・When the trend extends, you can aim for large profits
It has the characteristic of
approximately a 40% win rate, similar to trend-following EAs, since sometimes the trend doesn’t reverse and returns to the original direction.
Instead, when you win, the price movement is large, following a so-called risk-small profit-large logic.

Swing EA usage points
Similar to trend-following EAs, but the major difference is that it targets turning points
Can grow assets with small losses and large profits
Because drawdowns may last longer, money management is especially important
Ideal portfolio combinations
Swing EA becomes more stable when combined with trend-following and scalping EAs.
Scalping EA → high win rate, steady small profits
Trend-following EA → straightforwardly profits in trend direction
Swing EA → targets turning points, with larger single profits
By combining these three types, the EA operation portfolio becomes more robust and can adapt to different market conditions.
Summary
Swing EA is a logic that targets trend reversals
Win rate is around 40%, but increasing profits makes total P/L positive
Incorporating it into a portfolio further improves EA operation stability
For those who want to experience the appeal of small losses and large profits, Swing EA is definitely worth trying.
