Reason for the business transfer Since the basic agreement on May 20, 2019, DENSO and Aisan have been exploring measures to strengthen the competitiveness of overlapping areas in the powertrain domain, including “partial transfer of the powertrain business from DENSO to Aisan” and “increasing the ownership ratio of DENSO in Aisan to strengthen mutual cooperation in future growth areas.” As a result of extensive discussions between the two companies, it was decided to transfer the Fuel Pump Module business from DENSO to Aisan.
