In the morning in Tokyo (Tokyo 1315), the yen was weak against the dollar. As European time approaches, the yen appreciates across the board and the dollar depreciates. From Europe to London, the yen appreciated against the dollar across the board. From Europe to the close in New York, the yen appreciated against the dollar across the board.

The dollar is weak throughout the day.

Due to the Bank of Japan interest rate decision, the dollar/yen hit a low of 151.66, then reversed and hit a high of 153.89. Following the governor's press conference, the dollar-yen depreciation accelerated. After returning to a high of 151.26 during Chairman Powell's speech, selling resumed at the close of the New York market.
