In the morning in Tokyo, the yen is stronger than the dollar. As European time approaches, the yen appreciates across the board and the dollar depreciates. From New York to London, the yen appreciated against the dollar across the board. At the close in New York, the yen appreciated against the dollar.
The daily balance changed to dollar/yen selling 147.12, Aussie buying 0.6579, euro buying 1.0788, pound buying 1.2591, and moved to an overnight position.
USDJPY was sold due to speculation that the Bank of Japan would change negative interest rates
