FOMC

　FRBは昨夜のFOMCを10対2で据え置きを決定。市場織り込み通り公表されたこともあり、無難通過した形となった。据え置きということは更なるデータの確認を要する、または現行の金利が経済と均衡していることを示す判断だが、景気認識は「Economic activity is expanding at a strong pace.」 「力強いペースで拡大している」とし、前回の「Economic activity is expanding at a solid pace. 」「堅調なペースで拡大しているから判断を引き上げる形となった。

Inflation remains elevated. The accumulation of more information will help the Committee determine the policy stance appropriate to ensure a timely return of inflation to the Committee’s 2 percent goal. The Committee will deliver price stability.

インフレは依然として高い。さらなる情報の蓄積は、委員会が2%目標へのインフレの適時な回帰を確実にするための適切な政策スタンスを判断する助けとなる。委員会は物価の安定を実現する。
