About EA's Strategy
Translating...
◆GreetingsNice to meet you. Thank you for your interest in "Time is Equal."
My name is Suikawa. Time is Equal" is a highly customizable EA that I created for my own portfolio management.
Let's face it, "time is equal" has quite a few parameters.
If you are looking for an EA with as few parameters as possible, this is not for you.
However, more parameters does not mean that beginners cannot use it.
Simply operating the setup as it is in the buyer's bonus is profitable enough.
◆I have a quick question.Suddenly, which automated trading tool (EA) is more reliable?
◆Results in actual operations
The author is not the one who published the results on gogojungle.
Buyer's PrivilegeUSD/JPY and EUR/USD The following is a list of the pairs that are available for purchase.
1/17/2020 The author has actually operated with real funds in a purchaser's bonus setup and made a profit of 110,000 yen!
As of 4/24/2022 200,000.00 has been reached with the setup of the buyer's bonus.
(This is only a portion of the total earnings, as we also manage other accounts.)
I'm not talking only about my EAs. I think it is a good filter for selecting EAs when you are interested in "the author is operating with real money" and "myfxbook is open to the public with real money. I think it will be a good filter when selecting EAs.
*Please check with the author before purchasing an EA.
Personally, when I see a key mark on my balance in REALTRADE or myfxbook, I ask myself, "Is it a less confident EA that is operating at minimum lot size?" I try to think of it as "a not so confident EA that is operating with a minimum lot".
note (supplementary information) symbol
There is no guarantee that you will win, but I think that an EA that is not operated by the author with real money is not something that can be used with confidence.
◆Thanks to users
Time is Equal is powered by our patrons. We are truly grateful to be blessed with buyers.
Those we introduce here are just a few of them. We are grateful to all of you who have used our demo version and given us ideas.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank you. Thank you!

He sent me 16 PDF files of verification documents (twice).
He is still a good friend of our EA operation.
He is not on twitter, so I am reprinting his e-mail.

<Motivation for development
I usually buy EAs from Gogojungle and manage my portfolio with various types of EAs, just like you.
I usually buy EAs from Gogojungle and manage my portfolio with various types of EAs.
Day trading
Swing
Morning Scal
Reverse
Range Breaking
Trail repeats
Nanpin, Martingale (I'm not good at it, so I don't use it)
etc.
EAs are sold with various logics, but the basic principle is based on the price action of candlesticks.
And since excellent EAs often have close entry points and overlapping drawdowns
I wanted an EA that trades from a completely different perspective.
However, I have not been able to find what I am looking for...
So I decided to make one myself.
In case you are wondering, I am an active C programmer, so I am familiar with the C-like MQL4 language.
<Specifications
This EA will enter at a set time every day or on goto days (days with 5 and 10, like 5th and 10th, or the day before if the 10th is a vacation).
The EA is extremely simple, entering at the set time and closing at the set time only on the set day.
Four items can be set for each of these days: daily sell and buy, goto day sell and buy, and
You can also set the magic number to -1 to disable trading.
You may think, "There is no way to make money that simple.
However, there are favorable time frames for trading, including the MACHI price.
By default, you can enter the market by selling at 9:55, when the middle market price is determined, and
set to make an additional entry on goto day.
<A little behind-the-scenes development story
The EA was originally created so that drawdowns would not overlap with other EAs that operate on candlestick price action.
In releasing it to the public, we could have hidden the logic by making the entry and exit times a bit random, used RSI to aim for entry at favorable positions, or made it impossible for the buyer to set the time, and sold it as an EA with only good ordinary backtest results.
However, I believe that there are some people, like me, who think "I want an EA that has a different approach from other EAs! I think there are some people who think "I want an EA that has a different approach from other EAs!
I also thought that veteran users who have the skill of parameter tuning would also enjoy it, so I am fully disclosing the logic, parameters, etc.
*To be honest, it takes a lot of time to check for defects in the parameters that are open to the public.
But I'm doing my best to make sure that users will be using it for a long time! I am also a developer, but I am basically a person who operates with EAs.
I know how much fun it is to tweak parameters in back tests and find your own unique settings!
<For those who tune parameters
Since the EA is designed to enter at the opening price, it is possible to verify "only the opening price" instead of "all the ticks".
And since backtesting is completed at blazing speed, parameter tuning is a breeze!
From the results below, you can see that there is little difference.
All ticks
Opening price only
In addition, time settings can be easily set using the pull-down menu.
A day-of-week filter is also available.
Of course, beginners are also welcome to use the default settings to obtain the same results as in the back test.
Note: Please set the daylight saving time according to the vendor you are using. Please set the daylight saving time according to the vendor you use.
<What I consider when I choose an EA
What do you consider important when you use EA?
Is it net profit or PF?
There are three important points that I consider when choosing an EA.
■Point 1
The first is the recovery factor (net profit divided by maximum drawdown).
It is said to be excellent if it exceeds 10, but "time is equal" is 29.
*The back test was conducted on the entire period of Dukascopy's historical data.
Some sellers put a compound interest function and emphasize simple net gains, such as ¥0.0 billion, but
I judge the recovery factor as important.
■Point 2
The second is whether there is any difference between back and forward tests.
It's disappointing when you have a gogo-jumping, unrecorded loss trade or an exploding profit trade!
Time is Equal" determines entries and exits by time, so there is very little difference between the backtest and the forward test.
However, the spread and rates differ from one firm to another, so there is naturally some margin of error in this area.
Criterion 3 for selecting EAs
The third and final criterion is whether the EA is not over-optimized.
The definition of optimization is difficult to define, but I personally think that filtering to prevent entry in unfavorable market conditions is optimization.
If you can think of it from that perspective, then I would suggest that you simply specify the entry and exit times.
If you can think of it from that perspective, then "Time is Equal", which only specifies entry and exit times, does not provide any optimization at all.
However, if changing entry and exit times to improve performance is optimization, then there is no such optimization.
No other EA should have such optimization.
I believe the standard number of transactions for a credible backtest is 1000.
Please be assured that we have cleared that area with ease.
<Summary
Time is Equal," which I created for my own use, has the following features
・Compatible with all currencies, and customizable enough for veterans and EA developers to enjoy.
∙ Easy operation for beginners with default settings (just pay attention to the daylight saving time setting)
The USDJPY version with default settings has not lost in 17 years of Dukascopy's entire term.
・Excellent recovery factor value of "29
Super simple logic with little deviation from backtests.
The opening price entry allows for fast parameter tuning.
The price action is ignored, so there is little correlation with other EAs, making it ideal for portfolio management.
I often buy EAs from gogojungle, but this EA is the one I want to buy.
It is simple, but I think it is an EA that both beginners and veterans of EA can enjoy.
I hope everyone will try to play with it by tweaking the parameters.
◆====Buyer benefits====
I checked the correlation between (1) and (2) (=whether drawdowns occur at the same time).
It is said that the correlation is high when it exceeds 0.4.
However, the correlation is less than 0.2 in any unit of "hour, day, week, and month".
Correlation for time: 0.0

<About the currency pair
If this simple EA is well received, we will support multiple pairs at no charge.
We hope you will be patient with us.
Postscript*.
The author couldn't wait any longer, so we have added support. You can trade in all currencies.
I recommend EUR/USD and USD/JPY, which have narrow spreads and the No. 1 currency trading volume, and the No. 2 USD/JPY.
Back testing has confirmed that it is also possible to trade in other major currencies such as GBP/JPY, GBP/USD, EUR/JPY, and AUD/USD.
*End of postscript*.
I am not an EA developer, but rather I aim to make a profit through EA operation and discretionary trading.
I will not release any other EAs, and will only polish "Time is Equal" with great care.
I will not release any other EAs, and will only polish my EAs with "time is equal" in mind.

I know it's a long story, but the bottom line is...

Please set the daylight saving time method according to the broker. Magic Number Please set a magic number that differs from other EAs. If you set it to -1, you can also set it not to trade. Just like discretionary trading, there are those that decide trading and settlement timings by combining indicators, those that repeatedly buy or sell at certain price (pips) intervals, and trading methods that utilize market anomalies or temporal features. The variety is as rich as the methods in discretionary trading.
To categorize simply,
・Scalping (Type where trades are completed within a few minutes to a few hours),
・Day Trading (Type where trades are completed within several hours to about a day),
・Swing Trading (Type where trades are conducted over a relatively long period of about 1 day to 1 week)
・Grid/Martingale Trading (Holding multiple positions at equal or unequal intervals and settling all once a profit is made. Those that gradually increase the lot number are called Martingale.)
・Anomaly EA (Mid-price trading, early morning scalping)
However, a substantial advantage of automated trading is its ability to limit and predict risks beforehand.
[Risk]
Inherent to forex trading are the trading risks that undeniably exist in automated trading as well.
・Lot Size Risk
Increasing the lot size forcibly due to a high winning rate can, in rare instances, depending on the EA, lead to substantial Pips loss when a loss occurs. It is crucial to verify the SL Pips and the number of positions held before operating with an appropriate lot.
・Rapid Market Fluctuation Risk
There are instances where market prices fluctuate rapidly due to index announcements or unforeseen news. System trading does not account for such unpredictable market movements, rendering it incapable of making decisions on whether to settle in advance or abstain from trading. As a countermeasure, utilizing tools that halt the EA based on indicator announcements or the VIX (fear index) is also possible.
[Benefits]
・Operates 24 hours a day
If there is an opportunity, system trading will execute trades on your behalf consistently. It proves to be an extremely convenient tool for those unable to allocate time to trading.
・Trades dispassionately without being swayed by emotions
There is an absence of self-serving rule modifications, a common human tendency, such as increasing the lot size after consecutive losses in discretionary trading or, conversely, hastily securing profits with minimal gains.
・Accessible for beginners
To engage in Forex trading, there is no prerequisite to study; anyone using system trading will achieve the same results.
[Disadvantages]
・Cannot increase trading frequency at will
Since system trading operates based on pre-programmed conditions, depending on the type of EA, it might only execute trades a few times a month.
・Suitability may vary with market conditions
Depending on the trading type of the EA, there are periods more suited to trend trading and periods more suited to contrarian trading, making consistent results across all periods unlikely. While the previous year might have yielded good results, this year's performance might not be as promising, necessitating some level of discretion in determining whether it is an opportune time to operate.
・MT4 (MetaTrader 4. An account needs to be opened with a Forex company that offers MT4.)
・EA (A program for automated trading)
・The operating deposit required to run the EA
・A PC that can run 24 hours or a VPS (Virtual Private Server), where a virtual PC is hosted on a cloud server to run MT4.
Additionally, there are both demo and real accounts available. You can experience trading with virtual money by applying for a demo account. After opening a real account, you select the connection server assigned by the Forex broker, enter the password, and log in to the account.
When you deposit money into your account using the method specified by the forex broker, the funds will be reflected in your MT4 account, and you can trade.
Firstly, download the purchased EA file from your My Page on GogoJungle. You will download a zip (compressed) file, so right-click to extract it and retrieve the file named ‘◯◯◯ (EA name)_A19GAw09 (any 8 alphanumeric characters).ex4’ from inside.
Next, launch MT4 and navigate to ‘File’ → ‘Open Data Folder’ → ‘MQL4’ → ‘Experts’ folder, and place the ex4 file inside. Once done, close MT4 and restart it. Then, go to the upper menu ‘Tools’ → ‘Options’, and under ‘Expert Advisors’, ensure ‘Allow automated trading’ and ‘Allow DLL imports’ are checked, then press OK to close.
The necessary currency pair and time frame for the correct operation of the EA are specified on the EA sales page. Refer to this information and open the chart of the correct currency pair time frame (e.g., USDJPY5M for a USD/Yen 5-minute chart).
Within the menu navigator, under ‘Expert Advisors’, you will find the EA file name you placed earlier. Click to select it, then drag & drop it directly onto the chart to load the EA. Alternatively, you can double-click the EA name to load it onto the selected chart.
If ‘Authentication Success’ appears in the upper left of the chart, the authentication has been successful. To operate the EA, you need to keep your PC running 24 hours. Therefore, either disable the automatic sleep function or host MT4 on a VPS and operate the EA.
If you want to use it with an account other than the authenticated one, you need to reset the registered account.
To reset the account, close the MT4 where the Web authentication is registered, then go to My Page on GogoJungle > Use > Digital Contents > the relevant EA > press the ‘Reset’ button for the registration number, and the registered account will be released.
When the account is in a reset state, using the EA with another MT4 account will register a new account.
Also, you can reset the account an unlimited number of times.
→ Items to Check When EA is Not Operating
1 lot = 100,000 currency units
0.1 lot = 10,000 currency units
0.01 lot = 1,000 currency units
For USD/JPY, 1 lot would mean holding 100,000 dollars.
The margin required to hold lots is determined by the leverage set by the Forex broker.
If the leverage is 25 times, the margin required to hold 10,000 currency units of USD/JPY would be:
10000*109 (※ at a rate of 109 yen per dollar) ÷ 25 = 43,600 yen.
・Risk-Return Ratio: Total Profit and Loss during the period ÷ Maximum Drawdown
・Maximum Drawdown: The largest unrealized loss during the operation period
・Maximum Position Number: This is the maximum number of positions that the EA can theoretically hold at the same time
・TP (Take Profit): The set profit-taking Pips (or specified amount, etc.) in the EA's settings
・SL (Stop Loss): The set maximum loss pips (or specified amount, etc.) in the EA's settings
・Trailing Stop: Instead of settling at a specified Pips, once a certain profit is made, the settlement SL is raised at a certain interval (towards the profit), maximizing the profit. It is a method of settlement.
・Risk-Reward Ratio (Payoff Ratio): Average Profit ÷ Average Loss
・Hedging: Holding both buy and sell positions simultaneously (Some FX companies also have types where hedging is not allowed)
