■■What is EA "Winning streak"?
The EA "Rengo" is designed for use with the USD/JPY 5-minute leg.
When a trend is detected, it will be forward. When a strong trend occurs, which is the best opportunity, we do not take profits.
In order not to lose profits when a strong trend occurs, which is the most opportune time, we do not buy on the downside or sell on the upside.
Profit-taking is not capped by our own trailing stop.
Stop-losses are set at a minimum of 30 pips.
We hold only one position, which makes it easy to manage and keep track of the situation.
The frequency of entry is approximately once every two or three days (depending on chart conditions).
(Depending on the chart conditions, sometimes I do not enter a position for a week or two.
I enter when I think I can win as much as possible.)
The time I hold a position is only a rough estimate, but it ranges from a few minutes to a few hours.
We operate 24 hours a day. On weekends, we close positions at the time you specify.
This EA has been in the forefront since 2012, and the profit/loss trend before 2012 is flat.
The market before 2012 is considered to be out of date, and the EA is a high winning rate EA that focuses on the recent market.
We do not over-optimize our EAs, and we do not have any logic such as "Nanpin" or "Martingale".

We will post the back test results for different conditions of the spread and compounding function.
Although we have developed the EA so that the deviation between the forward and back tests will be as small as possible, please do not place too much trust in the results of the back tests.
However, please do not put too much confidence in the results of the back tests.
*Backtest results for spread = 5 (simple interest mode: 1 lot) Changes in account balance: 1,000,000 yen ⇒ 3,560,000 yen
Backtest result with Spread = 10 (Simple Interest Mode: 1Lot) Changes in account balance: 1,000,000 yen => 3,120,000 yen
Back-test result with spread = 5 (Compound interest mode: 20x) Changes in account balance: 1,000,000 yen => 104,010,000 yen
Back-test result with spread = 10 (Compound mode: 20x) Changes in account balance: 1,000,000 yen ⇒ 53,830,000,000 yen
Back-test result with spread = 5 (Compound mode: 10x) Changes in account balance: 1,000,000 yen => 12,070,000 yen
Back-test result with spread = 10 (Compound mode: 10x) Changes in account balance: 1,000,000 yen ⇒ 7,840,000 yen

Backtest acceleration" default: false
If set to true, the backtest will be processed faster.
Specifically, you can turn off the display of comments on the chart screen that have nothing to do with the trading logic of the position.
This turns off comments on the chart screen that are irrelevant to the trading logic of the position and skips processing that is unnecessary for the back test.
There is no difference in the back test results depending on the setting of this parameter.
Please note that the comments will not be displayed on the chart screen when the EA is applied to the chart with this parameter set to true.
Comment" default: "MA Sample
This is the setting for the order comment. The default setting is "MA Sample", but you can change it freely.
Version 3 Logic Enable" default: false
We have made a small logic modification to the position entry since version 4 of this EA.
This is because a slight improvement in performance can be expected (confirmed by back testing).
However, there may be some customers who would like to use the logic of version 3 of this EA, so we have made the following changes to the parameters of this EA to enable the logic of version 3.
We have prepared this parameter to enable the logic as of version 3.
If true, the logic of version 3 will be used.
If false, the new logic of version 4 will be used.
The forward test/real account trades have been running with the version 4 logic since 1/19/2018.
For comparison between version 3 and version 4 under the same conditions (0.5 pips spread 2012.1.1 - 2018.1.17 Lot1)
The following is a back test of version 3 and version 4. The results are not significantly different due to minor logic modifications.
However, we can confirm that the version 4 logic has improved the overall performance.

Do not perform the following operations when you have a position.
⇒ Open the parameter settings of this EA and press the "OK" button.
⇒ Remove this EA from the chart.
⇒ Close the chart to which this EA is applied
⇒ Close MT4.
⇒ Re-apply this EA to the chart to which this EA has already been applied
When you do the above, the position you are holding will be removed from the control of this EA, and no more orders will be issued for the position.
Please note that once the above is done, the position you are holding will no longer be under the control of this EA and no further orders will be placed against the position.
Even if you reapply this EA in a hurry, the position will not be controlled by this EA.
In that case, please manage the position manually.
Also, as is the case with all EAs, please be aware of the following factors
In addition, as is the case with any EA, the broker, internet environment, client environment running MT4, etc. are different for each person, and this may affect the EA's performance.
Please be aware that the trading results may differ from person to person depending on the broker, internet environment, and the client environment running MT4.
In addition, when important indicators are announced and the spread is wide, it is easy to get caught in a stop loss.
It is also easy to get caught up in stop-losses when important indicators are announced, and the results of back-tests and forward-tests can easily diverge.
Please be aware that the results of back-test and forward-test may deviate from each other. Do not choose a broker only because it has low spreads and is fixed in principle.
When spreads temporarily widen during the announcement of an important indicator, it is better to choose a broker with a low spread and a fixed price in principle than a broker with a high spread and a fixed price in principle.
It is also important that the spreads are as small as possible and return to normal as soon as possible.
Although the brokers are limited, you may also refer to fxon spread comparison page is also a good reference.
Personally, I prefer NDD brokers.
EA "Winning streak" does not guarantee a winning streak. There are cases where you may lose without winning in a row due to the way the currency market moves.
Please use the EA "Rensho" after fully considering the risk of losing.
Please operate this EA at your own risk, and please use it after fully considering the risks.
Please understand that we are not responsible for any loss caused by using this EA.
■■Setting check function ■■■Setting check function ■■Setting check function
To prevent mistakes in MT4 and EA settings, a settings check function is provided.
The chart screen with this EA applied is shown below.
If there is something wrong with the settings, a warning message will be displayed in the area circled in red.
We recommend that you review the settings according to the message.
Prior to version 4, there was a function to check if the number of lots exceeded the maximum leverage limit.
However, due to the existence of unavailable accounts, this function has been removed from version 4.
If you review the settings and all the settings are cleared, the display will switch to the following.

About Forex Automated Trading
What is Forex Automated Trading (MT4 EA)?
Forex Automated Trading refers to trading that is automated through programming, incorporating predetermined trading and settlement rules. There are various methods to conduct automated trading, but at GogoJungle, we deal with Experts Advisors (hereinafter referred to as EA) that operate on a trading platform called MT4.
Trading Types of Forex Automated Trading
There are various types of EAs (Expert Advisors) for different trading types that can be used on MT4.
Just like discretionary trading, there are those that decide trading and settlement timings by combining indicators, those that repeatedly buy or sell at certain price (pips) intervals, and trading methods that utilize market anomalies or temporal features. The variety is as rich as the methods in discretionary trading.
To categorize simply,
・Scalping (Type where trades are completed within a few minutes to a few hours),
・Day Trading (Type where trades are completed within several hours to about a day),
・Swing Trading (Type where trades are conducted over a relatively long period of about 1 day to 1 week)
・Grid/Martingale Trading (Holding multiple positions at equal or unequal intervals and settling all once a profit is made. Those that gradually increase the lot number are called Martingale.)
・Anomaly EA (Mid-price trading, early morning scalping)

Risks, Advantages, and Disadvantages of Forex Automated Trading
When engaging in Forex, there are risks in automated trading just as there are in discretionary trading.
However, a substantial advantage of automated trading is its ability to limit and predict risks beforehand.
[Risk]
Inherent to forex trading are the trading risks that undeniably exist in automated trading as well.
・Lot Size Risk
Increasing the lot size forcibly due to a high winning rate can, in rare instances, depending on the EA, lead to substantial Pips loss when a loss occurs. It is crucial to verify the SL Pips and the number of positions held before operating with an appropriate lot.
・Rapid Market Fluctuation Risk
There are instances where market prices fluctuate rapidly due to index announcements or unforeseen news. System trading does not account for such unpredictable market movements, rendering it incapable of making decisions on whether to settle in advance or abstain from trading. As a countermeasure, utilizing tools that halt the EA based on indicator announcements or the VIX (fear index) is also possible.
[Benefits]
・Operates 24 hours a day
If there is an opportunity, system trading will execute trades on your behalf consistently. It proves to be an extremely convenient tool for those unable to allocate time to trading.
・Trades dispassionately without being swayed by emotions
There is an absence of self-serving rule modifications, a common human tendency, such as increasing the lot size after consecutive losses in discretionary trading or, conversely, hastily securing profits with minimal gains.
・Accessible for beginners
To engage in Forex trading, there is no prerequisite to study; anyone using system trading will achieve the same results.
[Disadvantages]
・Cannot increase trading frequency at will
Since system trading operates based on pre-programmed conditions, depending on the type of EA, it might only execute trades a few times a month.
・Suitability may vary with market conditions
Depending on the trading type of the EA, there are periods more suited to trend trading and periods more suited to contrarian trading, making consistent results across all periods unlikely. While the previous year might have yielded good results, this year's performance might not be as promising, necessitating some level of discretion in determining whether it is an opportune time to operate.

Equipment and Environment Needed for Automated Trading Operation
The requirements for operating automated trading (EA) on MT4 are as follows:
・MT4 (MetaTrader 4. An account needs to be opened with a Forex company that offers MT4.)
・EA (A program for automated trading)
・The operating deposit required to run the EA
・A PC that can run 24 hours or a VPS (Virtual Private Server), where a virtual PC is hosted on a cloud server to run MT4.

Installation of MT4 and Account Login
If you open an account with a forex broker that supports MT4, you can use MT4 as provided by that forex broker. MT4 is a stand-alone type of software that needs to be installed on your computer, so you download the program file from the website of the FX company where you opened the account and install it on your computer.
Additionally, there are both demo and real accounts available. You can experience trading with virtual money by applying for a demo account. After opening a real account, you select the connection server assigned by the Forex broker, enter the password, and log in to the account.
When you deposit money into your account using the method specified by the forex broker, the funds will be reflected in your MT4 account, and you can trade.

How to Install EA on MT4
To set up an EA when you purchase it through GogoJungle, follow the steps below:
Firstly, download the purchased EA file from your My Page on GogoJungle. You will download a zip (compressed) file, so right-click to extract it and retrieve the file named ‘◯◯◯ (EA name)_A19GAw09 (any 8 alphanumeric characters).ex4’ from inside.
Next, launch MT4 and navigate to ‘File’ → ‘Open Data Folder’ → ‘MQL4’ → ‘Experts’ folder, and place the ex4 file inside. Once done, close MT4 and restart it. Then, go to the upper menu ‘Tools’ → ‘Options’, and under ‘Expert Advisors’, ensure ‘Allow automated trading’ and ‘Allow DLL imports’ are checked, then press OK to close.
The necessary currency pair and time frame for the correct operation of the EA are specified on the EA sales page. Refer to this information and open the chart of the correct currency pair time frame (e.g., USDJPY5M for a USD/Yen 5-minute chart).
Within the menu navigator, under ‘Expert Advisors’, you will find the EA file name you placed earlier. Click to select it, then drag & drop it directly onto the chart to load the EA. Alternatively, you can double-click the EA name to load it onto the selected chart.
If ‘Authentication Success’ appears in the upper left of the chart, the authentication has been successful. To operate the EA, you need to keep your PC running 24 hours. Therefore, either disable the automatic sleep function or host MT4 on a VPS and operate the EA.

About the Size of Trading Lots
In Forex trading, the size of a lot is usually:
1 lot = 100,000 currency units
0.1 lot = 10,000 currency units
0.01 lot = 1,000 currency units
For USD/JPY, 1 lot would mean holding 100,000 dollars.
The margin required to hold lots is determined by the leverage set by the Forex broker.
If the leverage is 25 times, the margin required to hold 10,000 currency units of USD/JPY would be:
10000*109 (※ at a rate of 109 yen per dollar) ÷ 25 = 43,600 yen.
