System Engineer-turned-full-time trader
A developer who continues to fight the "discrepancy" between backtests and forward tests
SpikeEdge developer: tyane (ちゃね)
Hacking the system to grasp the essence of the market.
■ Nice to meet you
My name is tyane (ちゃね).
A wealth of insight from years as a system engineer (SE), including a deep understanding of the inner workings of systems and skilled large-scale data analysis.
Leveraging that, I have been fascinated by hacking the investment world with system power.
Currently, I am a full-time trader specializing in financial market data analysis and development of investment tools based on that analysis.
■ Past being driven by self-proclaimed “excellent logic”
I tried many of the logic and tools sold in the market,
and repeatedly experienced situations where the backtest results were good, but I couldn’t win in real-time.
So I stopped buying tools, studied discretion on my own, and researched, through self-study, how backtest and forward test divergence occurs and how to reduce it.
As a result, I succeeded in developing products with little divergence, and now I can judge new logic's viability with about a week of forward testing.
The logic is created using advanced AI to be entirely original and unique.
■ The “account freezing” from making too much money
Until now, including communities beyond Gogojan, I have sold my tools to over 100 people and faced the market together.
As the number of users grew, unforeseen events occurred.
Many of my disciplined traders had their accounts frozen by certain brokers.
It was an unexpected proof that the tool’s logic captured the essence of the market.
At that time, I felt a mix of regret for not protecting my colleagues and certainty that my logic was “genuine.”
Still, when a frozen colleague told me,
“Thanks to your tool, I could withdraw profits and my life changed,”
my hesitation disappeared.
(Note: the profits of frozen colleagues have all been withdrawn safely.)
This “trust” is my core belief as a developer.
■ Experience of tool replication and the reason for limited quantity
There was a time when the tools I developed and sold were replicated by malicious users and traded in large volumes.
Soon after, similar logic tools flooded the market, and within just one month, the logic itself lost its edge.
From this, I learned two things:
- Tools must be built so they cannot be decompiled (analyzed or duplicated).
- Even profitable logic loses its edge when used massively at the same time.
Hence, I spent over a year developing tools in a special language that cannot be decompiled.
Also, I don’t sell exactly the same logic in large quantities, but limit the number of units sold.
Even if it means sacrificing my own sales, I prioritize providing purchasers with a long-lasting, secure environment.
■ SpikeEdge: a no-discretion system
All these experiences are packed into SpikeEdge.
It requires absolutely no discretionary input from users and yields consistent results regardless of who uses it—an entirely autonomous, self-contained system.
For binary options, it is designed for use with automated trading.
And to demonstrate the lack of any bias in its win rate, I continue to publish forward-test results on YouTube Live.
■ In conclusion
Would you like to join me in obtaining the “true strength” that captures the essence of the market?
Please look forward to tyane’s activities on Gogojan together with SpikeEdge.
