Kuroda Masato (FTT Corporation)
After graduating from university, he joined a law firm. From 2001, for 10 years at Himawari Securities, and from 2011 for 3 years at efx.com Securities, he engaged in expanding awareness of FX as well as Nikkei 225 futures, CFDs, and other derivatives.
From more than 10 years of experience, two things stand out:
- Many individual traders lose due to small mistakes
- They are misled by dubious information products, acquiring unnecessary knowledge and making poor trades
However, at first I didn’t win either. Many clients agreed with my market views and traded, but they ended up not being profit overall, losing and winning in turns. This was very troubling.
Even though my own funds were hard hit, it was painful that many who trusted my market view and traded did not end up overall positive, as if I were betraying them (indeed, I was betraying them).
So I studied various things. I thought daily about how to win and implemented methods that would win.
But I kept chasing techniques without a clear "this is the one," and I was doing the same things as those who are currently losing in the market.
Increasing indicators (analysis),
Tweaking parameters to fit the chart,
Looking for tricks,
Feeling relieved when I found a report suited to my own position,
As I repeated these, I realized that things that seemed complex are actually better viewed simply, and since then I removed many indicators and stared at the charts every day.
After about three years of trial and error, I understood that there is no secret trick in the market, that there is no mystery, and that the market has turning points you can be aware of, and by simply being aware of them, you can win overall.
Of course, not a 90% win rate!
Rather, a method to stay overall positive even with 3 wins and 7 losses.
After that, I began holding market seminars, which were supported by many people and continued for a long time,
though there were periods when I could not do them due to certain circumstances.
And to address the disappointing situation I wrote about at the start, since May 2014 I have served as the representative of FTT Corporation (Kanto Finance Bureau, Type II Financial Instruments Business, No. 2461), a company providing investment advice and agency services.
Over more than 10 years, I have served as a seminar lecturer, and the number of individual trader participants exceeds 200,000. I am truly grateful.
The lectures have remained consistently simple for more than 10 years, and many traders have emerged through that approach. It is very rewarding as well.
My creed is: “The market cannot be predicted” and “Simply adapt to changes.”
Currently, my work is to transform those who had not been able to win in the market into winning traders. In particular, even busy salarymen with little time and limited funds can, with efficient study and practice and by starting as a side business, first earn about 100,000 yen per month.
Once you can earn 100,000 yen per month, you can freely increase it (the hardest part is often the leap from 0 to 1 rather than from 1 to 10). I emphasize the transition from the introductory stage of FX investment to becoming independent (including full-time traders) and focus on training side-business traders, which is a characteristic of mine.
By the way, I was born in Katsushika, Tokyo, then lived in Kagoshima Prefecture for two years, grew up in Chitose, Hokkaido from kindergarten through high school, then moved back to Tokyo for university and stayed there.
Hobbies include fishing, drinking, driving (I do not drink and drive), outdoors, eating, playing mahjong, and gardening.
Cooking fish I caught myself and enjoying it with drinks is the best, isn’t it?
