【9/8 Dollar/Yen Scalp Points】
Thanks for your hard work! Alright, let's do the Dollar/Yen scalp again tonight!
First, today's overview in Tokyo time.
Currently, the Dollar/Yen is around 147.75. This morning it started around 148.15, but during Tokyo time, after 9 o'clock Japan time it rose to around 148.60.
The reason is the political uncertainty after Prime Minister Ishiba announced his resignation over the weekend, which fueled expectations that BoJ rate hikes would be delayed.
However, later there was gradual profit-taking selling and a decline, and it may fill the gap created in the morning. From the morning level, about 40 pips lower would likely transition to the overseas session.
From the weak U.S. employment data released last weekend, markets are increasingly expecting a rate cut in September, so overseas time is prone to stronger dollar-selling pressure.
Now, here are tonight's Dollar/Yen scalp points.
● Movements around 16:00 London market open
● Movements around 22:00 New York market open (Dow opens at 22:30)
—–
● Pay attention to headlines related to the Trump administration
Tonight's 1-minute chart scalping is likely to accumulate profit from market moves around each market open, given no special catalysts. For users of the "1-Minute Scalping Club," handling according to theory should be fine.
Additionally, for the 15-minute scalp, which is my short-only approach, the weak U.S. employment data last weekend has raised expectations of a September rate cut and increased dollar-selling pressure, so there could be opportunities. If a setup forms where you can sell around the mid-147s, I'll enter.
With that, thank you for your continued support today as well!
