The Gotō day is also advantageous depending on the conditions
This is my first post m(_ _)m
On the recent go-to date (Friday, 9/5), I think many who were long USD/JPY overnight into late night and early morning got burned.
I apologize for the intrusion, but here is a one-point piece of advice.
On the go-to date, there are days with high advantage and days with lower advantage.
If you verify with tools, it will become clear quickly, but
for at least five days, the advantage is low.
Conversely, the 15th and 20th have high advantage.
For the 10th, the advantage is mid-to-high, but
since tomorrow is Wednesday, it becomes more favorable with an extra edge.
Regarding advantage,
- what day of the week it is
- whether the go-to date is moved up
can also change things.
Recently, there are convenient tools that allow verification even if you can't program
There are useful tools, but herethe technical conditionsare also taken into account
If you can’t program an EA, verification may become difficult.
(Is it possible to add conditions like “the moving average crosses a confirmed bar〇 times” to the tool?)
Furthermore, if you worry about advantage and trade less often,
the profit factor may rise, but
the number of entries will decrease.
In the EA I created,
such advantages are considered not only by date or day of the week
but also by technical conditionsbeforehand and implemented after verification,
and by loading multiple such verified anomaly logics
the number of entries can actually be even higher.

Also, regarding the recent go-to date (Friday, 9/5), the above EA
avoids USD/JPY trades considering the advantage,
and earns with other anomalies.
Also, soon it will be 9/10, which is Wednesday,
so the above EA judged it advantageous and will enter long USD/JPY at
00:01 or 03:00.
(Most likely at 00:01)
Next time, I plan to post results of verification by date, by day of the week, by moved-up go-to date, and with/without technical consideration
(If I multiply everything, it would become overwhelmingly large, so
I will likely prune to some extent)
