[9/3] Free公開: Tonight's USD/JPY scalping points & methods
This is Tomizaki from the Trading Office.
【9/3 Dollar/Yen Scalp Points】
Good work today! Now, let's do the dollar/yen scalp again tonight!
First, here is today's Tokyo time overview.
Currently, the dollar/yen is around 148.55. This morning it started around 148.30, but in the early Tokyo session, political uncertainty rose due to expectations of moving up the Liberal Democratic Party leadership election, pushing the yen broadly weaker.
The dollar/yen rose to around 148.90 just before 1:00 PM Japan time.
However, following the sudden headline of Ueda’s visit to the Prime Minister’s residence, expectations for rate hikes spread, and the dollar/yen rise cooled. From the morning levels, about 25 pips have risen, and it looks like a handover to overseas time.
We will also watch Europe’s subsequent moves, but is the market flow now toward buying?
Now, the points for tonight’s dollar/yen scalping.
● Movement around the London market open around 16:00
● Movement around the New York market open around 22:00 (Dow opens at 22:30)
● Movement after the US JOLTS job openings release at 23:00
—–
● Be careful with US VIP statements
● Be careful with headlines related to the Trump administration
Tonight’s 1-minute scalp involves gaining profits from market open movements plus the move after the 23:00 US JOLTS release. For users of the “1-minute scalp Club,” handling according to the theory should be fine.
Also, the 15-minute scalps for shorts only, given the forward-looking anticipation of the Liberal Democratic Party leadership election, long-term bond yields have surged and the yen tends to weaken; so don’t push it today. By the way, the 30-year yield has risen to a record high of 3.28%.
Now, overseas time is about to start!
