Mercury FX, a UK-based money transfer company, announced on its website that it will use Ripple's international remittance service xRapid (Note 1) to
conduct a large international remittance exceeding 1 million dollars (100 million yen).
Mercury FX became notable on January 18 by reporting that it sent 3,621.67 GBP (about 500,000 yen) from the UK to Mexico and the XRP transfer was completed in just a few seconds.
According to this report, the sender Mustard Foods achieved a cost reduction of 79.17 GBP (11,226 yen) and almost 31 hours in processing time for that transfer.
