What to do for next week

Review and summarize what went well and what didn’t over this past week. In investing, there are many ways to grow yourself to become profitable even outside of practice. Here are some additional things you may want to do on the weekend.

Before that, I believe different approaches and investment styles are fine. There is no single correct answer. If you can enjoy investing even when time is scarce, or when you’re satisfied with a little profit in your spare moments, that too is perfectly fine. It’s your own correct answer.

This section is intended as a reference for those aiming for a more aggressive approach. Especially for those using fully automatic EAs, this is essential.

• Check the schedules of indicators that could have a major impact in various countries
• Windows Update “Resume updates date” (to avoid automatic restart)
• Account status such as margin balance and usable margin balance
• Latest margin requirements if there are fluctuations in corporate accounts
• Reboot the machine (if possible)

If these things could become a weekend routine, that would be ideal! When trading, it's effective to consciously routine-ize several things. Among full-time traders, many also routine-ize various aspects of their personal life. Whether it’s a winning pattern or a good luck charm, if you can win and enjoy it, that style can be the optimal routine that fits you.
