Hacking-tracked BTC becomes traceable!? Cambridge University professors develop new algorithm "Tainchain"
With the new algorithm, tracking stolen bitcoins becomes possible
At the prestigious University of Cambridge in the United Kingdom, Professor Mr. Rss Anderson and his research team
announced that they have developed a new algorithm capable of tracing cryptocurrency transaction processes.
The algorithm, named "Tainchain," is a technology that can also derive patterns of criminal activities such as money laundering.
The new algorithm is based on the "FIFO" method, a law adopted in Britain in the 19th century.
FIFO means withdrawing funds in the order of the most recently deposited funds, and by applying this concept, it is said that criminal activities can be traced.
