| You started FX 15 years ago, right, Steady? What was your initial experience like? |

| Yes, I started as a complete novice, so I got swept up in emotions and suffered large losses. When I won, I got overconfident and took more positions; when I lost, I tried to recover by increasing positions. Before I knew it, I had lost a lot of money. |

| Yes, a teacher I met online taught me how to draw trendlines and resistance lines. However, I was repeatedly criticized, which hurt my self-esteem, and I nearly gave up thinking, “This isn’t for me.” |

| How did you move from there into EA development? |

I figured that with my personality I’d be swayed by emotions, so I thought I had no choice but to leave it to a system.
It also happened that my main business stopped during COVID, so I poured 6–7 hours a day into EA development. I was obsessed with making EAs day and night. |

First, I chose USD/JPY.
I thought Japanese traders tend to follow rules, so their psychology is more likely to be reflected. I centered the system on indicators that many people watch, such as moving averages, keeping the structure simple. |

Yes. Longs on USD/JPY are relatively stable, but shorts are not.
