Somersault Cloud Indicator A thorough comparison of three different logics
Hello. Today I will introduce the "Kinto-un" series I am developing, comparing three variations.
Based on the simple theme of "convergence of moving averages," I have prepared three versions to suit market conditions and trading styles: the Standard version, the Speed-Enhanced version, and the Precision-Enhanced version.
Kinto-un Moving Average Convergence (Standard Version)
First, the most basic Standard version. This is the Kinto-un of the past.
It detects the state where the “convergence of three or more automatically selected moving averages” occurs.
- Catch early signs of a trend reversal
- Simple and easy to understand
- Fewer false signals and higher reliability
In other words, it provides the most “Kinto-un-like” basic usability.
Kinto-un Any Three Convergence (Speed-Enhanced Version)
Next is the Speed-Enhanced version.
This detects when any three of five MAs converge.
- Speed to not miss early momentum
- Does not overlook partial convergence
- Handles complex ranges and high-noise markets
Because sensitivity is higher, there are more signals, but it is suitable for traders who want to actively seize opportunities.
Kinto-un All Five Convergence (Precision-Enhanced Version)
Finally, the Precision-Enhanced version.
It only reacts when “all five MAs have completely converged.”
- The most strict and simple judgment
- Powerful signals at major trend reversal points
- Also useful at important support and resistance formations
Signals are few, but their reliability is overwhelming. Ideal for those who want to narrow down the decisive moments.

How should you use them differently?
In my own trading, I often do the following:
- Speed-Enhanced Version to sense the signs
- Standard Version to confirm the turn
- Precision-Enhanced Version to judge a full entry
That is the flow.
By combining the three, you can reduce false signals and maximize opportunities.
Conclusion
“Kinto-un” centers on the same moving average convergence theme, but
- Moving Average Convergence (Standard Version)… Balanced
- Any Three Convergence (Speed-Enhanced Version)… Focus on early momentum
- All Five Convergence (Precision-Enhanced Version)… Emphasis on reliability
Each has its own character.
If you choose according to market conditions and your trading style, you can use moving average convergence signals more effectively.
?In the next article, I will use actual chart examples to specifically show how the three Kinto-un versions differ, so stay tuned!
