【8/8 Points for USD/JPY Scalp】
Good work today! Alright, let's scalp USD/JPY again tonight!
First, from today’s Tokyo time overview.
Currently USD/JPY is around 147.20. This morning USD/JPY started around 147.05, but in Tokyo time, due to news that Mr. Milan, who is close to President Trump, was mentioned as a potential successor to the Fed’s Governor Yellen, there was a USD selloff on expectations of earlier rate cuts by the U.S., and after 9 a.m. Japan time it fell to around 146.70.
However, as the “Main Opinions at the BOJ Monetary Policy Meeting” suggested that expectations for an early rate hike were retreating, USD selling turned around, and the morning decline essentially reversed.
There is some volatility, but it’s stayed range-bound, making USD/JPY look hard to move.
From the morning levels, there will be about a 15-pip rise as we hand over to overseas trading.
Now, here are the points for tonight’s USD/JPY scalping.
● Movement around the London market open near 16:00
● Movement around the New York market open near 22:00 (Dow opens at 22:30)

● Be careful of headlines related to the Trump administration
Tonight’s 1-minute chart scalping is expected to gain profits from moves around each market open, as there isn’t much market-moving data. For users of the “1-Minute Scalping Club,” handling according to theory should be fine.
Additionally, the 15-minute chart scalping which focuses on shorts is moving in a range, so if you aim for it, target the upper end of the range around 147 mid-figure. Think of it as rotating in small increments.
