【8/6 USD/JPY Scalping Points】
Thank you for your hard work! Alright, let’s do USD/JPY scalping again tonight!
First, here is today’s Tokyo session overview.
Currently, USD/JPY is around 147.50. This morning, it started around 147.55, but during Tokyo time there were moments after Kōno’s remark that “a rate hike is needed toward a stronger yen,” pushing it to around 147.30, yet yen buying did not advance, and it recovered to the mid-147s.
Even with yesterday evening’s deterioration of the U.S. ISM Non-Manufacturing PMI, the low remained around 147.30, and with Kōno’s remarks today the low still around 147.30, so there’s a sense of insufficient materials. USD/JPY is trading with difficulty, isn’t it?
It seems we will hand over to overseas time at roughly the same level as in the morning.
Now, here are the points for tonight’s USD/JPY scalping.
● Movements around the London market open around 16:00
● Movements around the New York market open (Dow opens at 22:30)

● Be cautious of U.S. officials’ comments
● Be cautious of headlines related to the Trump administration
Tonight’s one-minute chart scalping is expected to profit from moves around each market open since there aren’t particularly compelling market catalysts. For users of the “1-Minute Scalping Club,” it should be fine to handle as per the theory.
Also, for the short-only 15-minute scalping, the USD/JPY is showing little movement due to the lack of catalysts, so don’t push it today.
Now, the overseas session is about to begin!
