Rules used (Single-position version)
【Take-profit rules】
• Basic goal is to take profit after reaching Sky Line ③
• If Sky Line ③ is not reached, after breaking each line, settle once the price returns to the previous line
• Example: Break the sky line → settle when it returns to the floating line
• When clearly in the zone, fixed take-profit is applied
【Stop-loss rules】
• Maximum stop: −10 pips
• Even before reaching that, if the rules dictate a stop, exit immediately
⸻
Intention of this trading style
The advantage of a single-position type is that there is little confusion.
Because entry is completed with a single action, there is no complexity like “where and how much to take profit” typical of split-position trading.
Also, the rule of “Break → take profit at the previous line” in this time frame is to secure profits reliably without greed when the market cannot reach the target.
This reduces missed opportunities while keeping risk under control.
⸻
Summary
This time's win rate is not high at 37.5%, but the average take-profit width (10.3 pips) exceeds the average loss width (7.0 pips),making the risk-reward aspect satisfactory.
EA-based breakout strategy
The “Sky Gap” is a simple strategy where entry is done by an automatic entry EA, and the trader focuses on monitoring after entry and executing the take-profit rules.
The EA continuously monitors the chart and can enter exactly at the breakout moment without missing it.
This eliminates the stress of staring at the screen before entry and the worry of missing timing.
As a bonus for buyers, this EA is available for use.
If you wish to use it, please message me and I will send you a download password.
Why publish negative results?
Investment Navi+ deliberately publishes negative results as well.
The reason is that “trading cannot always be profitable.”
Rather, by recording losses you can analyze under what conditions you lose and strengthen the logic.
Rather than chasing every win or loss,
Over a span of a week or a month, what matters is that the total result is positive.Total balance being positive over the period is what's important
• “I’m happy today because I won”
• “I lost today, so I’m worried”
To eliminate these emotional swings, entrust entry to the EA and have humans focus on executing the rules for exits.
Instead of “wanting to win,”“wanting to earn”—this mindset is the foundation for long-term profitability.
Stability gained by following the rules
The common reason people lose big in trading is the urge to windrives them to break the rules
For example, wanting to extend profits or wait a bit longer can cause profits to vanish rapidly if you delay closing.
Sky Gap is
• Entry fully automated by EA
• Exit based on fixed, rule-based conditions
This reduces human intervention to the minimum and eliminates hesitation.
By mechanically following the rules, win rate and risk-reward stabilize naturally.
⸻
Trading for overall positive resultsWin rate is not the key; rather, “reproducibility”
Many traders focus on win rate, but
even with 50% win rate, capital can grow if risk-reward is favorable
What matters is having a rule that yields the same result no matter who uses it, i.e., a reproducible rule
Sky Gap is
•EA entry → mechanical stop → rule-based take profit
Carrying out this sequence with zero emotion is the core idea to make trading a business
⸻
Strategy aimed at overall profit
Be careful not to chase daily wins and losses.
For example, looking at a week or a month, even with some negative days, as long as the overall balance is positive, it’s OK.
EA has no emotions, making it ideal for long-term capital management as well.
By operating the rule with the vision of “earn” rather than “win,” the capital growth curve tends to be more stable.
ℹ️Information on exclusive tools (purchase bonus)
Currently, for those who purchase Sky Gap, we provide auxiliary tools (automatic entry + stop processing) as a bonus.
This was created because I personally want to use it daily,
and it is designed to delegate breakout judgment and risk management to the tool according to market structure.
Take profits are still primarily based on your own judgment and are a good match for those who prefer that approach.
Reviews are not numerous yet, possibly because it is simple and clear enough that there is little need for interaction before or after purchase.
However, if usage grows, a paid version may be considered.
This is because a stand-alone tool may need to be used in conjunction with support.
