【8/5 USD/JPY Scalping Points】
Good work today! Now let's scalping USD/JPY again tonight!
First, from today's Tokyo session overview.
Currently USD/JPY is at around 147.05. This morning it started around 147.00, but during the Tokyo session there was steady short covering, and after 12:00 Japan time it rose to around 147.25.
However, following weaker U.S. employment data from the previous weekend, the main scenarios are “June Fed rate cuts,” and “three rate cuts within the year,” so today there might be heavy selling that keeps the upside limited as those are priced in.
It seems likely to transition to overseas time at roughly morning levels.
Now, here are tonight's USD/JPY scalping points.
● Movements around the London market open around 16:00
● Movements after the U.S. Trade Balance release at 21:30
● Movements near the New York market open around 22:00 (Dow open at 22:30)
● Movements after the U.S. ISM Non-Manufacturing PMI release at 23:00

● Beware headlines related to the Trump administration
Tonight’s 1-minute chart scalping will aim to add profits from the market open timings plus the moves after 21:30 “U.S. Trade Balance” and 23:00 “U.S. ISM Non-Manufacturing PMI” releases. For users of the “1-Minute Scalping Club,” handling according to the theory should be fine.
Also, the 15-minute scalping focused on shorts tends to be favorable for selling the dollar with the main scenario of “June Fed rate cuts” and “three cuts within the year,” so there may be opportunities. If it can form at around 147 yen, I will enter.
