【8/4 USD/JPY Scalp Points】
Thanks for your hard work! Now let's scalp USD/JPY again tonight!
First, from today’s Tokyo time overview.
Currently, USD/JPY is around 147.65. This morning, USD/JPY started around 147.25, but during Tokyo time the rapid drop following last week’s U.S. employment data has subsided, and there is a gradual rebound developing.
Nevertheless, the upside remains heavy, and the question today is how long the impact of the employment data will continue. USD/JPY appears to have a slightly bearish bias.
From the morning level, it seems to be about 40 pips higher as we transition into overseas trading.
Now, here are tonight’s USD/JPY scalp points.
● Movements around 16:00 London market open
● Movements around 22:00 New York market open (Dow opens at 22:30)
—–
● Be cautious of headlines related to the Trump administration
For tonight’s 1-minute chart scalping, with no particular market catalysts, the plan is to accumulate profits from moves around each market open. Users of the “1-minute scalping club” should manage positions according to the usual rules without issue.
Also, the 15-minute short-side scalping, which focuses on topside movement due to the employment data, looks to have some opportunities. If a setup forms to sell around 148 yen, we will enter.
With that, overseas trading is about to start!
【8/4: Major U.S. Indicators/Events】
● There are no particularly important U.S. indicators or events today
—–For USD/JPY scalpers, pay attention to timing and avoid entering right before indicators or events.
Actually.. one of my trading methods, the “15-minute Scalping” using the 15-minute USD/JPY chart, is completely free and open to the public.
I hope it can be of some help. (Completely free, by the way.)
