What beginners should watch out for in FX automated trading.
This time I want to start FX automated trading, and I received valuable questions from readers of my site, so I’d like to share them based on that..

・“Would it be more stable to run multiple EAs?”

When considering what to be careful about when performing FX automated trading, I often receive the above questions.
In reality, it’s great if you can operate multiple EAs, but for beginners who don’t have funds yet, some just want to try a sense of it with a single EA running for the time being.
That’s how I started too.
At that time, it is recommended to operate with a long track record and a low-risk EA.
I think the important mindset is to aim for steady profits, even if it’s just a little pocket money.
First, apart from earning profits, getting used to trading is also extremely important.That’s why..
After you’ve become somewhat accustomed to trading, you can consider other EAs, review lot sizes, and so on.
Operating multiple EAs increases total trading opportunities and improves capital efficiency.
However, that does not necessarily mean it’s always better.
Even with a single EA, if it is really good, you may have stable profits; conversely, with multiple operations, if one EA incurs large losses, profits may reverse, at least to some extent.
Nevertheless, fundamentally, from experience, it is better to run multiple different-type EAs at low risk to increase capital efficiency.
The important thing is not to over-trust a single EA.
Also, do not start with high risk and high return from the outset.
If you incur a large loss from the beginning, it can be difficult to recover funds later.
Regarding this, I conducted a test using two accounts with the exact same EA combinations—one with quite high lots and another with low risk. In the short term, the high lots grew funds substantially, but in the long term the low-risk approach surpassed.
