【July 29 Dollar-Yen Scalping Points】
Good work everyone! Let's go with dollar-yen scalping again tonight!
First, here is today’s Tokyo session overview.
Currently, USD/JPY is around 148.35. This morning it started around 148.45, and during the Tokyo session just before 10:00 Japan time it briefly strengthened to around 148.70, but subsequently fell back to the lower 148s.
From today for two days, the US FOMC meeting is scheduled, and the Bank of Japan's Policy Meeting is set for this Thursday, which may keep a cautious mood. It seems markets will likely hand over to overseas trading near the early morning levels.
Even in the overseas session, the lower 148s are expected to hold firm.
Now, the points for tonight’s USD/JPY scalping.
● Movements around 16:00 London market open
● Movements around 22:00 New York market open (Dow opens at 22:30)
● Movements after the US Consumer Confidence Index and US JOLTS Jobs data release at 23:00
—–
● Be wary of headlines related to the Trump administration
Tonight’s 1-minute chart scalping aims to accumulate profits from movements near each market open plus the moves after the 23:00 data releases. For users of the “1-minute scalping club,” if you handle the moves according to the theory, there should be no problem.
Also, the short-only 15-minute scalping expects that even in the overseas session, the 148-level will remain supportive, so today there’s no need to push hard. If a move occurs, it may come after the US data release.
Now, soon the overseas session will start!
【July 29 Major US Indicators / Events】
