GOLD|July 29 verification – Effectiveness of a simple floating zone settlement
Monday, July 29, 2025 – Japan time 18:00–21:00
This time, we focused on the settlement-type evaluation of the “Sky Gap” logic in the floating zone (RR1:1).
Compared to traditional sky zone targets, it felt more like “a clearer trade,” and
in particular a pattern where profits are taken immediately after a stop loss was frequently observed, delivering the stability of short-term settlements.
⸻
Floating Zone(18:00–21:00) Results
• Total trades: 21
• Profit target achieved: 16
• Stop losses: 5
• Breakeven settlements: 0
• Total acquired pips: +87 pips
• Total lost pips: −62 pips
• Net result:+25 pips
• Win rate: about 76% (16 wins / 21 trades)
• PF (Profit Factor): 1.40
Example of earnings (USD/JPY at 145)
• With 1 lot: +36,250円
• With 0.1 lot: +3,625円
⸻
A wider price range also increases losses
This floating-zone model uses fixed settlement RV1:1, and although the win rate is high,
in markets with large price swings, the negative pips per loss can be large.
As a result, since there were sequences of profit-taking after stop-losses that recovered, it ended positively, but
in a volatile market, the variations of acquired pips and lost pips can be large, so caution is needed.
⸻
Fixed RR-type trading feel
• Compared to “Sky Zone targeting,”the rules are simpler and judgments quicker.
• Because there are sequences of profit-taking after re-entry right after stop-loss,it’s easy to switch mindset.
• As a quick test/practice, this is extremely effective.
Effectiveness of fixed risk-reward trading
In “Sky Gap,” fixed RR-type trading forms the basis.
• Floating Zone (RR1:1)
• Aerial Zone (RR1:2)
• Sky Zone (RR1:3–5)
Adopting these fixed-RR types in the practice stage makes it easier to secure profits stably.
On the other hand, trades that maximize profits are the applied-trade examples published in “Investment Navigator+”.
By using both “Fundamentals: Fixed RR trades” and “Applications: Maximum profit trades” as two wheels, I felt that the reproducibility of rule-based trading is further enhanced.
⸻
“Sky Gap” is not a flashy strategy aiming for a single big reversal.
You accumulate small wins and ultimately stay in the positive
That stability is, above all, its greatest strength.
When using an EA, entries are automated,
and you can keep only monitoring settlements.
This is a major advantage for doing this while at work or managing chores.
⸻
Guide to the dedicated entry tool
For those who purchased Sky Gap,
we provide a supporting tool (automatic entry + stop-loss processing).
This was created out of a desire for everyday personal use,
and is designed to delegate break decisions and risk management according to market structure.
For those who mainly rely on their own judgment for take profits, this tool is well-suited.
However, if usage increases in the future, it may become paid.
The reason is that selling the tool alone may not suffice; there may be a need for support as part of a package.
