【7/24 Dollar/Yen Scalping Points】
Good work today! Let’s do Dollar/Yen scalping again this evening!
First, here is today's Tokyo session overview.
Currently, USD/JPY is around 146.35. The pair started this morning near 146.50, but during the Tokyo session morning, selling pressure emerged on expectations of an earlier rate hike by the BOJ and remarks by the U.S. Lapidic(?) Commerce Secretary urging resignation or replacement of Fed Chair Powell, following the U.S.-Japan trade agreement.
USD/JPY dropped to an Asia-low near 145.85 around 10:30 JST, but in the afternoon Tokyo session the decline paused, showing a near “back-and-forth” movement, and from the morning level it would be about 15 pips lower as we transition to the overseas session.
Now, the points for this evening's USD/JPY scalping.
● Movements near the London market open around 16:00
● Movement after the U.S. initial jobless claims release at 21:30
● Movements near the New York market open (Dow opens at 22:30)
● Movements after the U.S. manufacturing PMI/Services PMI release at 22:45

● Be wary of headlines related to the Trump administration
Tonight, the 1-minute scalping plan is to accumulate profits by movements around each market open plus the 21:30 US initial jobless claims and 22:45 PMI releases. For users of the “1-minute scalping club,” if you handle according to the theory, there should be no problem.
Also, the 15-minute scalping, which is short-selling oriented, tends to tilt toward selling due to BOJ rate-hike expectations and statements by the U.S. Commerce Secretary, offering opportunities. If you can wait for a slight pullback and sell around the mid-146s, we’ll enter then.
