Good work everyone! Now, let's dive into USD/JPY scalping again tonight!
First, here is today's Tokyo time overview.
Currently USD/JPY is around 148.80. This morning, USD/JPY started around 148.60, but during Tokyo time, due to expectations that the ruling party would fall short of a majority in the weekend House of Councillors election, the pair traded with a slight yen-selling tendency.
From the morning level, it seems set to rise about 20 pips as we head into the overseas session.
It seems likely that the firm USD/JPY trend will continue once the overseas session begins.
Now, for tonight's USD/JPY scalping points.
● Movement around 16:00 around the London market open
● Movement after the 21:30 release of “US Housing Starts”
● Movement around the 22:00 New York market open (Dow opens at 22:30)
● Movement after the 23:00 release of the “US University of Michigan Consumer Confidence Index”

● Be mindful of headlines related to the Trump administration
Tonight’s 1-minute scalping plan is to add profits through the moves around each market open plus the moves after the 21:30 “US Housing Starts” and the 23:00 “US Michigan Consumer Confidence Index” releases. For users of the “1-Minute Scalping Club,” as long as you follow the theory, there should be no problem.
Also, the short-only 15-minute scalp will likely remain yen-selling favored as the weekend House election suggests the ruling party may not secure a majority, so today don’t push too hard.
