KLEON
A practical trader who began trading in university, navigating a wide range of financial instruments such as stocks, FX, Nikkei 225, and options. He achieved substantial success in individual stocks during the early Abenomics period, but faced a setback after shifting to FX. Yet, after meeting a full-time trader, he learned a small-loss, big-profit approach and surged again. Currently focusing on gold, he’s developing his own entry logic. With nearly 20 years of experience and achievements, he shares a reproducible trading technique as content.

Nice to meet you. I’m KLEON. I started investing with friends back in college, and before I knew it, it’s been nearly 20 years. I’ve had many failures and successes, and today I’d like to share the experiences I’ve gained. |
Starting From University Days
| First, could you tell us what prompted you to start trading? |
| GoGoJan Hayakawa |
| KLEON |
| Yes. In college, a close group of friends discussed that you could make money in stocks. At the time I didn’t know much and started more as a game. |
| It’s quite rare for someone to actually invest while still a student, isn’t it? |
| GoGoJan Hayakawa |
| KLEON |
| That’s right. Back then information was scarce, so few people around me were doing it. But fortunately I had friends who shared the interest, so I could continue naturally. |
| From therefor nearly 20 years, I have been involved in investing. |

| KLEON |
| It’s amazing how much time has passed. I’ve experienced Lehman Shock as well, and the market has trained me many times. Through continuing, I feel my own style has gradually become established. My own style has gradually become established I think. |
Success in Stock Investing and Abenomics
| As the first step in trading, you started with individual stocks. What was your style? |
| GoGoJan Hayakawa |
| KLEON |
| At first it was completely stock-centered. The style was short- to medium-term, a swing trading approach. I held assets for a few days to about 1–2 weeks, buying and selling based on timing. |
| Back then, you rode the Abenomics wave well, right? |
| GoGoJan Hayakawa |
| KLEON |
| Yes. After Lehman, the Nikkei fell to around 7,000, then recovered with Abenomics, and by riding that wave I earned significant profits in individual stocks. |
| It was indeed an era where “buy and it goes up.” |
| GoGoJan Hayakawa |
| KLEON |
| Yes, during that period anyone who owned stocks could make money. I also made substantial profits. |
Shift to FX and the Struggles
| What were the reasons for shifting to FX later on? |
| GoGoJan Hayakawa |
| KLEON |
| The stock market began to move slowly. It wasn’t as easy to profit as in the early days of Abenomics, so naturally my interest shifted to the more volatile FX. |
| Which currency pair did you start with first? |
| GoGoJan Hayakawa |
| KLEON |
| First was GBP/JPY. It’s a highly volatile pair, so there was a good chance of a big move in a single shot, which suited short-term trading. |
| What was it like when you first moved from stocks to FX? |
| GoGoJan Hayakawa |
| KLEON |
| It was tougher than I had imagined. Initially I kept losing, and I was shocked at how different it was. I had a period of ups and downs, and it took time for my capital to grow. |
Trading Changes After Meeting a Mentor
| What became the turning point during the tough period? |
| GoGoJan Hayakawa |
| KLEON |
| The major turning point was meeting a professional full-time trader who acted as a mentor. He happened to be someone who hardly ever loses on a monthly basis and was highly skilled. |
| What about watching that person’s trades stood out the most? |
| GoGoJan Hayakawa |
| KLEON |
| Above all,“loss cutting was thorough”When the trade went against him, he cut quickly, and when the move was favorable, he let it ride. The emotionless, machine-like adherence to the logic was truly shocking. |
| Did incorporating that approach change your own trading style as well? |
| GoGoJan Hayakawa |
| KLEON |
| Yes. Before, I would hope for a big move and end up extending losses, or exit too quickly for a small gain, butI completely changed my mindset, and my results became more stable. |
The Core of Gold Entry Technique
| Regarding the “Gold Monster” that we’re offering this time, what exactly does it cover? |
| GoGoJan Hayakawa |
| KLEON |
| Small losses, big profits, in other words“aim for big profits from small losses”—a trading approach that is foundational. Gold, with its high volatility, is especially suited to this kind of strategy. |
| Is there a particular point you emphasize in the method? |
| GoGoJan Hayakawa |
| KLEON |
| Yes, it’s the entry “timing.” It can’t be too early or too late. In my method, you enter only when certain conditions align, and I clearly define the trigger in advance. |
| By learning this, viewers will be able to trade like KLEON. |
| GoGoJan Hayakawa |
| KLEON |
| Yes. When I was losing, discovering this mindset helped stabilize my trading. I encoded that experience into the “Gold Monster.” I hope others who are suffering like I did will find it useful. |
