【July 7, 2025】 USD/JPY (Dollar/Yen) 1-minute chart
Tokyo time 9:00–12:00 | Sky Chasm Logic Verification Report
⸻
?About this verification
Today, we focused on the USD/JPY 1-minute chart and conducted a verification using the “Sky Chasm” logic over the three hours from 9:00 to 12:00 Tokyo time.
In reality, I did not monitor the chart in real time this time, so I did not place entries. However, the “Sky Chasm” logic allows for complete automation of entries and stop losses via an EA (automatic trading program).
Therefore this time we conducted a detailed verification of when the EA would have entered and where it would have taken profits or cut losses, based on the logic.
⸻
?Summary of this morning’s trades
• Total trades: 12
• Profits: 6
• Breakeven/very small profit: 2
• Losses: 4
• Total gained pips: +47 pips
• Total lost pips: -15 pips
• Net profit/loss: +32 pips
• Win rate (profits ÷ trades): 50%
• Profit factor (PF): about 3.13
?EA’s role and balance with discretion
With the “Sky Chasm” logic, entries and stop losses are entrusted to the EA, while profits are taken with discretion—this is a highly rational approach.
Reason: the market changes by the minute, and attempting to automate everything has its limits.
What an EA excels at is, **“reacting instantly when conditions are met.”** This is a mechanical, high-speed processing that, when followed by the rules, greatly eliminates human errors such as hesitation at entry or delayed stop losses.
However, profits (taking profits) should be more flexible depending on market conditions to maximize advantage.
For example—
• Take profits early when a clear resistance is reached
• When profits are growing, gradually take profits in stages
• If the price seems to stall before hitting the expected zone, exit at breakeven
Such judgments are more certain when done discretionary.
Therefore, in this logic, the division of labor—“entries and stop losses by EA, profits by discretion”—is the most natural and directly tied to results.
⸻
?Market conditions and logic adaptability
The Tokyo session showed relatively high volatility, with a somewhat tricky movement where upward and downward waves alternated.
There wasn’t a clear trend, and sometimes a few pips moved suddenly only to reverse, creating many false signals that can mislead human judgment.
Even in such situations, with the “Sky Chasm” logic,
• Trigger only upon clear line break
• Enter decisively when the specified line is breached
• Cut losses immediately if moving in the opposite direction
this highly mechanical processing is possible and has shown more stable results than human judgment.
⸻
✅Summary
• Automatic entry and stop loss by EA is highly effective
• Combining discretionary profit-taking allows flexible and stable trading
• The most effective combination is an EA that executes without hesitation and discretionary profit-taking that reads the market
• Even this morning in Tokyo time, net +32 pips and PF 3.13 indicates good performance
Because the logic operates automatically, you can focus confidently on “taking profits.”
