【7/7 Dollar/Yen Scalping Points】
Thanks for your hard work! Now, let's do Dollar/Yen scalping again tonight!
First, from today's Tokyo session overview.
Currently, USD/JPY is around 145.05. This morning started around 144.35, but during the Tokyo session the dollar bought due to President Trump’s remarks about a 10% additional tariff on BRICS alliance countries.
After 15:30 Japan time, we touched today’s Asia high of around 145.15. In the overnight session, USD/JPY seems to remain firm.
From the early level, about a 70-pip rise to the overnight session is expected as the baton passes.
Also, by 25:00 Japan time, it is said that letters regarding Trump’s tariffs may be sent or announced, and depending on the content, the market may move after the announcement.
Now, the points for tonight’s USD/JPY scalping.
● Movements around 16:00 when the London market opens
● Movements around 22:00 when the New York market opens (Dow opens at 22:30)
—–
● Pay attention to headlines related to the Trump administration
Tonight’s 1-minute scalp involves no special catalysts in the market; profits will likely come from movements around market opens. For users of the “1-minute scalp club,” handling accordingly according to theory should be fine.
Also, the 15-minute scalp focused on short positions may see the USD/JPY consolidate due to Trump’s tariff remarks, so don’t push it today. If a move occurs, it would be after the letters regarding Trump tariffs are sent/announced.
With that, international time is about to start!
【7/7 – Major U.S. indicators/events】
● There are no particularly important U.S. indicators/events today
